The fourth edition of one of the most prestigious tournaments of the AOE2DE is approaching. Its classic format not only remains attractive but it seems that this is part of its success. As most of you know the tournament takes place only on the map of Arabia. This map is so standard that many consider it the most important map to know how to play, to the detriment of others. Clearly we all started practicing on arabia when we started, exploring the different civilizations and strategies. The magic that this map generates is still intact and soon we will see the best players in the world display their skills. By the way, we will be able to analyze how the new civilization balances will develop in this type of format.
There will be 16 invited players and another 16 will have to qualify on October 30 and 31. The basic prize pool will be $75,000 and will be increased by donations and extra subscriptions. Sponsors include Microsoft, PinzTec and MsHuggah.

All games will be streamed on the KOTD’s organizing channel, MembTV, although the stream is completely open.
