The Ayre Age League: Season One is a 1v1 Random Map tournament series hosted by Jasent_aoc, the owner of Ayre Esports. This tournament will be a multi-stage event with the top seeded 32 players going through a qualifiers system all the way through to the remaining top 4 players going through a double elimination playoff stage across the final weekend. This tournament will run from the 3rd of August 2020 through to the 13th of September 2020. The Ayre Age League will feature a map and civilization draft system that is not used all that often in Age of Empires 2 esports. Players will ban and pick the maps from the map pool until there is one map remaining where that map will be the «decider map». This tournament features a prize pool of a minimum of $500 USD that the players will fight for their share of.
